All septic systems are required to be pumped out within a certain time frame. This can vary depending on the number of people living in the house. With a family of 4 (2 x Adults - 2 x Children) we recommend pumping every 3 years. Larger families will require their septic to be pumped out more regular basis. If a system is left for many years, the heavy particles in the tank can be transferred from the septic to the effluent
lines, causing them to block and be replaced. (refer to Tank Installations)
